Google appeal denied: what to do after 3 failed appeals
By Spear Systems · 2 min read ·
When the appeal button stops working — 3 failed appeals on the ad, a decision older than 6 months, or processing suspended for appeal misuse — the self-serve path is over. What remains, in order:
- Contact support directly. The in-account route is exhausted; human support (chat/phone where available, or the disapproved-ads contact form) can review formats and policies the button can’t, including aged decisions. Bring ad IDs, the exact policy cited, and what you changed.
- Decide rebuild vs appeal. If the creative’s core promise violates policy (cure claims, unrealistic outcomes, prohibited category), no appeal succeeds — rebuild the creative around a compliant promise (framing guide). Reserve support rounds for genuinely clean ads.
- Fix the destination first. Support reviews ad + page together; appealing with the same noncompliant landing page wastes the escalation (page checklist).
- Protect the account. Unfixed violations accumulate toward suspension while you dispute. Pause the violating ads (don’t delete evidence trails you need for the case) and hold new launches until the record is clean — suspension guide.

Every burned appeal started as a preventable submission. Pre-launch review on final creative (what it checks) costs minutes; a burned appeal round costs weeks. Overview: Google disapproval hub.
